Howdy, Neighbor is a collection of works by the American designers Trueing [Joshua Metersky & Aiden Bowman] and the Japanese glass artist Baku Takahashi. Created over the course of a year-and-a-half-long collaboration — the pieces speak to both parties’ fascination with the capabilities of glass and a shared perspective placing sense of humor and intimacy at the heart of their respective practices. The name Howdy, Neighbor comes as reference to those adjacencies — shared over physical distances and referenced in the puckish qualities of the works.
